Default 5/10NL at Party Poker -- AK on the Button

I read Villian as slightly loose aggressive pre-flop and aggressive post-flop. I have a TAG image if Villian has any read.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $5/10 BB (8 handed)

BB ($1156.50)
Villian ($985)
UTG+1 ($500)
MP1 ($1834.03)
MP2 ($805.75)
CO ($244.35)
Hero ($457)
SB ($980)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $5.
Villian calls $10, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, MP2 calls $10, CO calls $10, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $40</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, BB calls $30, Villian calls $30, MP2 folds, CO folds.

Flop: ($145) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
BB checks, Villian checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $100</font>, BB folds, Villian re-raises $945 (All-In), Hero ???.

What if I had a bigger stack that would be at risk?

You need to raise this to $70 or so preflop. You are building a multiway pot w/ AKo which is silly.

Also, instamuck.

Really only a few hands you're likely to see from villain in this scenario.

22, KT, Txd, Axs, JQd, J9d, AA. In about that order of likelihood.

Agree that you should take it up to at least 50 pre-flop. Fold with any stack on the flop.

Does everyone realise he is short stacked? I obviously thought easy fold before I noticed this but i think as a shortie you maybe gotta call your last $300 into a $600 pot here. Why are you so short stacked? Fold if you were any deeper.

Yeah, the stack is a big part of the question.

If anyone is interested, I called and Villian flipped over 55.

5/10NL Party Poker tables are loose.
