JJ preflop decision (standard?) - 50nl
I've only been playing at this table for ~4 orbits so I don't know too much about either opponent but they both have vpip's in the 60's after about 20 hands. Don't know anything else about them. As for my table image, I've been speeding a bit since I got to this table, but I haven't been going crazy.

Re: JJ preflop decision (standard?) - 50nl
how often does bb raise preflop? without reads, this looks like an easy call. with a read that bb is real aggro preflop, i might reraise.

Re: JJ preflop decision (standard?) - 50nl
Yeah I didn't have a real read on bb at the time cause I'd only been at the table for a few orbits, but he hadn't been really aggro preflop to that point. My real concern here is whether or not to push preflop, but I'm leaning towards calling and reevaluating after seeing a flop.

Re: JJ preflop decision (standard?) - 50nl
Yeah this situation is more clearcut to me than the one I was in. Here, you're getting 4bet by a 12% pfr (not to mention you're out of position the rest of the hand if you call) - folding is easy. In my hand, I'm getting 3bet by an unknown bb after opening from the cutoff. There's no way I'm folding - the question is whether or not to push, but I think that's probably bad in my spot for a number of reasons.

Re: JJ preflop decision (standard?) - 50nl
Well, you can SNG any non A or K if you want. However, know that there's a good chance he's not laying down KK or AA regardless of flop texture.
