Stadium Arcadium - Best song?

What are everyone's thoughts about this album? Which disc is better? What is your favorite song off of them (assuming you've heard them all)? This could turn into a pll eventually I guess. Personally, at this point I'd have to go with Slow Cheetah, that song is awesome.

Pretty subpar. I said this in another thread about this album, but I just think its stupid that they made a double album when they didnt even have enough good material for a single album.

I kinda saw this coming when I saw a quote from Anthony Kiedis calling their new album "the best thing that we’ve ever done". Any time a long established artist makes a claim like this it sends up red flags, as the resulting album usually ends up being sh*t, and this album was no exception.

As a side note, anyone know why Kiedis tries to sound like a girl with his singing most of the time now?

Just picked this up and listened to the whole thing through Tuesday. Wasn't too impressed. I wouldn't say I'm a big RHCP fan anyway, but I do enjoy some of their stuff. BSSM was really cool, and I liked One Hot Minute too. This just sounded old and stale all the way through. Contrary to most people, I actually liked the second disc better. Readymade was my favroite song; sounded like they were actually stretching themselves a little.

Its too bad they faded out like this, though I'm not sure they ever really had staying potential.

I really like this new release. It's good all the way through, I coulnd't pick a favorite song or even a favorite disc. But as a beginner guitar player I just had to search for tabs for Readymade first.
