Pay it off with what? I don't have a dime to my name. This site took every dime I had. I think they got what they wanted.

They didn't take it, you gave it to them, and yes they got exactly what they wanted. They put up blackjack to make money. That's what blackjack is for, for casinos to make money.

Pay if off with what? HOW ABOUT MONEY YOU EARN? You know, like from a job? I hear there are couple crazy people in the world who do this, they exchange goods and services for financial compinsation.

Either that or take up poker (a game you CAN actually win money at), although I would not advise this, since you have an addictive personality you would most likely tilt and blow alot of money at stakes you weren't properly rolled for.

Really, you need to come to grips with this view you have. If this thread is indicative of how you live your life, you seem to have a victim mentality - that everything that happens is "somebody screwing me over." You need to own up to how you lost this money and come to grips with it, or else you're in for a lot of hurt in life. This is going to take you down the road to bankruptcy, failed marriages, lost jobs, probably substance addiction, and more. It's not that everyone here is just making up these posts - you breathe big problems in every one of them. Until you come to grips with that and deal with the issues haunting you, you will have many problems in life. Heed advice, look at why you gamble, what drives you, then step away from it, find something healthy to fill that void and start enjoying life. Otherwise, 6k that you don't have will look like a drop in the ocean compared to the mountain of problems that will confront you for the rest of your life.

Thank you to all the morality police out there for your soapbox speeches. Please limit the responses to people who have experienced what I have.

Thanks

And good luck with your life. I'm sure you'll see the things I just said.

When you cut off your arm, you don't pull out a snoopy bandaid. The same is true with life. You've got to get to the root of problems, not just fix little fires.

Every company that has receivables writes off bad debts to expense, because not everyone who buys on credit pays.

I just want to put this behind me and try to start my life over. I am getting help and I already have $15,000 in credit card debt to pay. If it makes me a bad person to want to get off the hook on $6000 after losing 10 times that to partypoker then so be it.

If you gamble for fun, you ve already won.

Also, this site didnt take everything you had, you gave it to them. Schoonmaker said it best "your greatest enemy is denial"
