Re: Dealer\'s Choice
Another crazy one we play is 69burn Insanity. Its 7card no peek with 6s, 9s, and lowest card on your board are wild. You make the best 5 card hand. THe insanity portion(yes I know it sounds crazy) is when you have 2 cards still unrolled, you can pay half the pot to buy 2 cards. Also if you flip your last card, and loose you match the pot. At that point You have the option to fold. We have played it limit, and spread limit. No PL or NL because its not an all in game based on the buy. Ahh Good times with this crazy game.

Re: Dealer\\\'s Choice
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] We created a little game named \'Pimp my Hold\'em\' (short: Pimp\'em). Everybody gets two Hoecards facedown and a Pimpcard which you have to put on your forehead. You can\'t see your own Pimpcard, but you can see the Pimpcards of the others. - Betting Round - 2 Community Cards - Betting Round - 1 Community Card - Betting Round - 1 Community Card - Betting Round - Showdown! You use the Hoecarding (=> Lowcarding) to determine the button. [/ QUOTE ] I get that your hold'em version has 3 hole cards and 4 shared board cards, but what is this random button position thing again? [/ QUOTE ] So someone is the hoe and has to bring the big blind more often than the other players [/ QUOTE ] I get that, but I don't get how they determine the button- are they using the Pimpcards, which would give your Indian Poker card away? They can't be using the down Hoecards, that would expose your hand. Either OP mislabeled this portion: "You use the Hoecarding (=> Lowcarding) to determine the button." ... or there's another part missing... OR I'm stupid :P |

Re: Dealer\'s Choice
We play a version of Omaha 8/b with 15 community cards. Three rows of 5. Everyone is dealt either 4 or 5 cards. You must use two. 9 cards are flopped (three from each row). Most people get some piece of the flop and stay in. Then a turn from each row, etc. It can make for huge pots (over $1000) when playing Pot Limit with only a $2 initial bet. It becomes the most popular game at any regular game it gets introduced at.
We also play a game called Bingo which is less skill but many people enjoy it. |
