My friend is trying to cheat the IRS
I am 100% confident that I will see posts saying that it really is me. Honestly I have a friend who plays poker and wins about 300k/year. He is not paying taxes at all and is doing the neteller debit card trick. My question is if the IRS catches him will they just charge him fees? or will he possibly face jail time?

Re: My friend is trying to cheat the IRS
All bets are off when someone does something that dumb. Report him for tax evasion and claim your reward (up to 15% of the amount recovered). Taxes on $300K + penalties is gonna be a lot of money.

Re: My friend is trying to cheat the IRS
Friends don't [censored] friends. If I was cheating on my taxes and someone reported me, I would take serious revenge. If I am losing my money and going to jail, I might as well go for a good reason.

Friends don't [censored] friends. [/ QUOTE ] And if for some reason you absolutely HAVE to report him, for the love of god give him some warning about it so he can at the very least mentally prepare for it! |
