I raise, call a 3 bet and consider a fold if he leads the turn and we're UI. Reads would be helpful in a situation like this.

I really don't think any inside straights or flushes would be going anywhere, the pot's pretty huge.

The pot is still small enough that 3-4 out hands should be folding here. Remember: we don't care if they are going to call or not; we want to put them in a situation where they can't call profitably. If they go ahead and do it anyway, we are actually happily, by the Fundamental Theorem of Poker, since they are making a mistake.

I think we raise here, then we need to play poker. If villain three-bets, it's probably too early to give up. I'd consider a couple of things, including capping the flop, betting the turn, and taking a free showdown on the river. Any further aggression beyond a flop three-bet (turn check-raise or whatever) should be a sign we're beat.

And this is a situation we really need reads for, by the by...

Two choices, IMO:

*raise here to knock out what you can (giving next player 7:1, sandwiched)
*call here, raise safe turn (prob. giving next opponent 5.5:1). You save money when a [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], or Ace falls, but lose value when you were ahead.

I'm not fully experienced at knowing which line to use in these situations, but I think this is a good time for the latter. The former would be better when you have redraws and overcard.
