Why can't you give a "free card"? Free cards don't hurt you much if your opponent was planning on calling a bet anyways and I believe this opponent is intending to at least call with any draw that has 10 outs against you.

Against a tricky aggro opponent, I think you have just enough equity to see a showdown, but not enough such that you want to be putting in 3 BBs to do it.
