[ QUOTE ]
An all time favorite of mine...

Hero goes all-in with the best hand

Villain makes a horrible call

Villain outdraws Hero on the river

Hero makes no comment

Other players make no comment

The railbirds don't even comment

But the Villain has the nerve to say, "thank you"

[/ QUOTE ]

I get this one alot. "I've been watching you/your bets...I think it was a good call."

a) Usually I'm told this after playing ridiculuously tight -or- pushbotting VERY strong hands. (but I guess they wouldn't know I had AQ+, JJ+)

b) They're ususally wrong and outdraw me. OR catch my first half-bluff.

I've been told that at least twice when it was my first bet of the tourney. (all-in after catching nothing and being blinded out)

heh i like that one.

i had quite a good one the other day, bought in for 50BB against a guy with 22BB at the table.

about the 8th hand i raise from LP with AQs and continuation bet the flop and turn to free showdown the river and he picks up the pot with some pair.

vil = "keep betting, i like it"
hero = silent

anyway 80 or so hands later hero has about 55BB and vil goes all in and loses

hero = "keep going all in and losing all your money, i like it"
vil = "fatass"
hero = "dude im like 73kg"
vil = leaves table without another word....

i found it funny... just thought id share

When I raise AQ from early position only to be called by 3-5 players and the flop comes K-high.

Going from chip leader to short stack because you call an all in with AA vs. A6 off suit to be sucked out on a four flush.

Cocktail waitresses at the Borgata who won't put out (i.e., all of them).

Maybe it's just me.

2 limpers, 22/7 raiser, I 3 bet from big blind with KK or QQ and an ace flops. Only questions is am I beat in one, two or all three spots.
