Default good thinking play or too fancy?

usually, i'd just play very straight forward but i was probably too passive here... the table is 4 TAGs, 1 LAG, and 1 maniac... basically we are all there for the maniac...

HERO open from CO w/ QTo, button (TAG, 24/12) calls, sb (TAG 22/10) 3 bets, bb folds, HERO and button call..

Flop: T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] rag

sb bets, HERO call, button raise, sb just calls, then HERO calls..

turn: blank
sb checks, i donk, button raise, sb calls, i hate my hand and i now pray for a chop or a Q

river: A
check around

on flop, i know i should raise but just call hoping it could be 3 bets back to me so i fold knowing for sure i'm no good...

on turn, i was hoping to get sb (big A?) out or maybe i was ahead with my QT, if button was on draw... if button had T, then if he raises, i pray for chop but big A wasnt gonna draw out cheap...

it ended up costing me the maximum, considering that if it was capped back to me on flop, then i could fold too...

so what would you have done on every street? [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Looks ok to me, you can't really fold anywhere, except maybe to a river bet.

Raise the flop, givent that you didnt raise the flop, good turn donk.

Seriously though dude, stop acting so depressed. You flop top pair and you act like you wanna kill yourself. It sounds like youre running bad and you need a break. I think you need to go find a crooked asian massage place and have some fun. Thats what I do when im running bad.

i usu raise flop, and if the action is heavy i fold turn UI. if its light (eg. call, call) i bet/fold turn, i check this river

haha... thx... tip noted!

i guess i'm proud of myself for somehow guessing exactly what they had on the flop: over pair and better kicker, but i was wrong in assuming i know how they'd play it... str8 forward was definitely best here...
