[censored] me man, looks like I missed out on something good by going easy on the 2p2 this week. FWIW, I've recently decided to do something about my fatness. I joined a gym on monday and have actually gone 3 times this week, and I'm eating healthier (with the exception of today when I got drunk off beer and ate a pizza topped with a cheeseburger ) it sucks that I missed bison's deadline, but I will still post updates and keep up with you guys on this. I am 22, 5'10" and 338 lbs (as of monday)

Ok, I said I'd be interested in sponsoring another group of five. I don't think it's a good incentive to offer $0.25/lb so I'd like to get some more sponsors so we could get it up into the $1 zone. Let's shoot for $1 for the first 100 lbs and $.50 thereafter. I can commit to $0.25 across the board so we only need commitments of $0.75/lb for the 1st hunderd lbs and $0.25 for the rest.

If I can get that commitment by Thursday the new sponsor group will pick 5 by the weekend.

This means I would be withdrawing my sponsorship of bison's men, but I hope they will understand. I'm not a money tree like bison and it's for a good cause.

I would propose that should we get another group sponsored we follow bison's suggestions on how to keep track, etc.

I've removed bison's men from the list below.

If somebody wants to compile a list of all the contestants, I'd be interested in putting my $0.25 on 5 others.

As an older guy, I'm inclined to sponsor the ancients on this list but I am more than willing to let other sponsors decide who we should go with as I really don't know anybody.

I'm interested in this gall bladder information as well. When I sucessfully lost 80 lbs about 3 years ago, I lost it in 4 months or so, and I remember that I was losing 5-6 lbs over a 5 week span each week. It was very very simple to lose a lot of weight, fast, being heavy, male, and young.

At any rate, Deadbody, Kraln, Do you have any objection to me posting links to your journals on my blog that I am posting to? That question also applies to anyone involved in this challenge (sponsored or not) that is blogging.

I am tracking my progress at :

Acehawk74's OOT Weight Loss Challenge

None whatsover. Please do.

As for your gal bladder, it assists your liver in making and storing bile. You don't *need* your gal bladder, and in fact my family has a history of getting them out.

Hoi Polloi: Same rules as for Bison?

Even though I didn't get sponsored I still decided to go through with it. I've started a new blog and will let everyone know my progress. Evans' Weight loss Blog

Edit: I will link to other's blogs as well.

I'm down to 331.2 as of this morning, from 334 on the start date. Quite fascinating what not eating fast food and/or pizza can do for you.

To to rain on your parade, but a change that small can just be water weight. Don't get too worked up about loss/gain of 3-5 lbs in either direction, especially at our size.
