Does Mastercard work with neteller?

I could not use a credit card when signing up with Neteller either. It has to do with the bank the card is associated with, not Neteller.

Well that was the message i got when i tried to deposit with mastercard directly onto pokerstars, so i was wondering if neteller would be a viable option

No I don't think Mastercard will work with Neteller. Most credit cards block any sort of gaming related transactions, and most of neteller's business is gaming related. You can fund Neteller with a checking account - for now - but if the new US legislation is passed you won't be able to make any eft transactions or fund neteller in any way, even certified checks from a bank will be blocked. I don't know how the sites are going to get around the new US legislation if it passes but I am sure they will think of something.

I think this is debateable since Neteller can be used for things besides gambling.

Neteller doesn't allow MasterCard anymore. Period. It doesn't matter if your card allows. Mine used to be. Now they only accept Visa. However, as others have said, most Visas are not aceppted nevertheless because of the gambling restrictions etc. Some Visa work, it depends on the issuer bank.

aside from gambling, sites that sell gambing stuff (i.e. pokertracker) what is neteller used for?
