Default I take a less common line with flush draw against Gildwulf

Situation history:
I've been raising lightly to upset Gildwulf.
The player to Gildwulfs left is extremely loose 50+ vpip. Low pfr, but decent postflop aggression (1.3-1.4).

The hand:
Pf: It's not the best hand in the world to get 3bet by Gildwulf on but At least it doesn't include an A or a K.
The 3 bet cc doesn't say very much. He could have anything still.
Flop:
I think that no "move" from my side could have gotten Gildwulf off of his hand, so I decide to take it easy.
Turn:
When I check the turn I'm thinking, I'll just call this, but then Gildwulf checks. This is NOT a made hand. The fish bets, which I would say is about 50% any pair 50% nothing.
I see my chance to maybe steal the pot on the turn, or on the river, and also often buy a Q out. I raise.
River: I follow through.

What made me make this play is that I thought there was some chance I could steal the pot instantly and if I didn't I might buy more outs.
The downside is not letting Gildwulf in on the flush draw.

If your read's accurate (50% hand 50% nothing) then it's great, obviously. Can't really debate the accuracy of your read.

I don't think you should bet the river.

Is this because of the K or just generally?

I take it the UTG raise with Q9s was a mix it up play then and not standard?

Im not so sure about your river bet, if hes on nothing i think he mostly folds turn to your checkraise. What hands do you think he calls turn CR with that hes going to fold on this river with? Theres not a lot of hands worth calling 30 PF with that has a draw on that turn, even if he is 50 VPIP.

QTs is standard utg for me...
I'm thinking hands like A2, A3, A7, A8
I guess with the river K there just aren't that many hands that beat me on higcard...

I would need to have an excellent read to cap the turn here against anyone.
I'd just call and fold river ui.
