Thanks, Halo, for your time to post considering your site basically said what you wanted to explain (I saved your site as a bookmark).
Since I'm so used to Atlantic City rules going to AC live, so using Starluck, etc... with LV rules.. dealer hitting soft 17 took some using to. After 1 or 2 times, I was all ready to say "huh?" when dealer has A6 and gets 3 to bust my 17/18, etc. Then I got used to it. I used the strategy sheet at CBP down to a "T" with 1 or 2 misclicks, flatbetting $1 all way for this first casino whoring attempt in years. (I probably shouldn't count attemps doing a couple of Boss software sites between 1999-2002). Now, I have a NOOB question about the wording "soft 17". Of course, soft hands still gives me double take. For instance, I'm facing dealer 10 and I have 3,4 and I get A for 8 or soft 18. I am supposed to hit again, eh, according to the charts (looking at A,7) as I am "guessing it applies to ALL soft hands I get"??? Please correct me if I'm wrong! It's almost embarrassing to ask becuz I'm usually good with following directions & finding out answers with ease. * CalvinTy |
