Dids,
I'd like to take credit for being the first non-bison pledger.

Dcasper,

Thanks for the sponsorship as well.. Yes, sadly I am two of you. I had a great day today with the diet. Walked for 35 minutes and didnt feel too bad afterwords.. not likely to remain the case for when I wake up. Ate well, and so far I have downed 100oz of water roughly. Good start so far, but of course a long way to go.

Is anyone out there planning to do major updates on their stats and everything on a webpage? I know Dids has his pics up on his site but I thought we could probably benefit from having a site made that tracks all of our progress, weekly pics, maybe meal plans, etc.

www.Fitday.com is a pretty decent tracker site. I myself will be posting updates to www.kraln.com/?blogid=3

Interesting thread. I know no one believes it will happen to them, but one word of warning: Don't lose weight too fast! A few years ago I got on a great program (low glycemic foods/stationary bike), lose 55 lbs in 2 months and turned my gall bladder into sludge. Believe me, gallstones are not fun, and neither is gall bladder removal surgery. Lose it slow!

Not gonna be a problem, I already lost about 50 lbs in a couple months, and had my gall bladder removed. The resultant lethargy got me back into some bad habits, and I gained back 25 lbs.

I'll be tracking my weightloss and posting pics on

I always thought that the only danger of loosing weight too fast was loose skin. How does loosing weight effect your gall blader (I don't even know what a gall blader does)?

I'm interested in this gall bladder information as well. When I sucessfully lost 80 lbs about 3 years ago, I lost it in 4 months or so, and I remember that I was losing 5-6 lbs over a 5 week span each week. It was very very simple to lose a lot of weight, fast, being heavy, male, and young.

At any rate, Deadbody, Kraln, Do you have any objection to me posting links to your journals on my blog that I am posting to? That question also applies to anyone involved in this challenge (sponsored or not) that is blogging.

I am tracking my progress at :

i appreciate your kindness and care, but 1 dollar per pound? these are poker players, they make 250 bucks in 30 minutes.

It's not 2005 anymore, baby.

Sad but true.

In that vein, I would like to sponsor Dibs and Kipin but I don't have much money at the moment. Maybe I can make them beedogs t-shirts that they will eventually fit into. Or something else... (?)
