http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...14&fpart=1A7o on the button[/url] - very funny replies from those with and without TAitis.

Poker Stars doesn't burn cards - classic quasitroll to wrap up the "funny stuff" section

AAAmazing flop with 99 by StellarWind

Small Stakes Quiz #2 by Sarge

Beating the limit bully - excellent post by an unfortunately rarely-seen old timer (Sredni Vashtar, aka Backdoor?)

Ciaffone / Briar - Hand 1 & 2 - by MarkD and many others

River decision in an unwanted pot - not very interesting...ok, I'm just a StellarWind fan

JJ facing a turn bet - by Bison. A well-played thread (even if you don't find the hand well-played).

A 15/30 Hand that might be helpful - and a hand reading exercise. - nice post by James282.

Training wheel - classic Tommy.

A4s river decision - Bison bet/folds aces up getting 12:1. Clarkmeister's Theorem and opponent reading are important, apparently.

editor's note: surely there are good threads in the NL and SH/HU forums, but I don't read those...there are a few "links to links" above but I don't know how current they are...

there was a post, i thought it was in the MTT forumn, but, alas, i cannot find it.

anyway, the poster made a deal when it was HU at the end of a tourney. i can't remember the exact details, but the poster took less $$$ than he would have had he just played on and lost. tears rolled down my face reading some of the responses. one in particular offered to sell the poster his old car with loads of miles on it...yada, yada, yada... for more money than the original sticker price.

cheers!

First Rule of 2+2 -- a disturbing lack of brown trout leads to an even more disturbing mental image

What do do when raised on river scare card after a value bet? -- a relatively easy topic, but I don't see it addressed elsewhere in this FAQ. May as well include one with trademark StellarWind gold.

One for clark -- K3o flops bottom pair against two random hands, so bicyclekick bets. "Perfect." (the TA method leaves a little to be desired with such a vulnerable pair)

Speaking of GoT, I like his (and astro's) analysis in 8-handed online 20/40: shaky protection. Textbook example of protecting a marginal hand / buying outs in a huge pot. (ignore the amulet brouhaha)
