Hallelujah! I love to hear stories about a "non-believers" conversion! It really is a miracle drug and I'd probably be crippled by arthritis in a few years without it. And I don't have to risk heart attack or stroke like I would with Vioxx.

Yeah, it's a lot of fun, too.

You wouldn't know if it carried a heart attack risk similar to Vioxx, because nobody is doing the studies. The risk with Vioxx was sufficiently small that it wouldn't have been found without study.

Now, claiming that marijuana works as a disease modifying agent in degenerative arthritis is quite bold. It is also extraordinarily unfounded. Any data to back it up? (By the way, the pleural of anecdote is not data.)

In case you were thinking that I'm some sort of anti-drug zealot, I'm thoroughly in favor of decriminalization of marijuana for personal use as well as (a separate issue) allowing prescription of it for medical use and lifting restrictions against studying its effects.

hehe. December-February I was smoking several times a week. I've been taking a self-imposed hiatus for the last 2 months (only 3 times!), but I enjoy the hell out of it.

I need to find a way so that I can smoke regularly but not frequently. Like once every week or two would be ideal, cause I have a mind-blowing blast most times, but that motivation stuff is a bitch.
