My second monitor blanks out

I recently went for a two-monitor setup. It's been working fine for a few weeks but now the second monitor blanks out for about 2 seconds every minute or so. It's driving me mad. Any hints about what may be causing this would be appreciated.

Well, it's the video card, drivers, cable or monitor... You need to isolate the problem to one of these before you can start trying to fix it. Swap the cables over, see if it starts happening on the other monitor or continues happening on the same one etc.
