Default Errors in the MLB Stat Line

I think it's kinda silly that Errors are still included in the standard MLB stat line. It doesn't tell you that much about the game anymore....i think that walks should replace errors in the third spot in the stat line as they are hugely important in the game today.

Are errors just a holdover from a long time ago when they were more common? Anyone else feel they're not really worth their space in the stat line?

Why is batting average in the lineup stats? They should have two columns instead of that, OBP and SLG. Or just have one OPS column.
