Actors I Hate in Movies I Like

Kevin Costner:

I love The Untouchables, Dances with Wolves, Open Range, all of his Baseball movies. Yet I hate Kevin Costner. Why?


Tom Cruise:

I love Top Gun, Risky Business, Mission Impossible, Rainman.
Forget his personal life goofiness, He stars in some great stuff, yet I hate him as an actor. Why?

Keaneau Reeves:

I love Ted and Bills excellent adventure, Devils Advocate, and a few others. His success just pisses me off. Why?

i dont think this is specifically about actors...i think that film is a medium where one bad element is not enough to completely ruin the whole...there are enough things that you like about those movies that one back thing can't bring it all down...also, since most movies really suck people have lower expectations and are willing to enjoy/be entertained by average flicks...

Sean Penn. Mystic River, 21 Grams, and several others. I don't know why, but this guy has really been under my skin lately.

Tim Robbins. Shawshank, High Fidelity, Bob Roberts, and a fantastic cameo in Anchorman.

Johnny Depp. Pirates of the Caribbean I and II, Blow, and probably one of my favorite movies ever in Donnie Brasco. Just can't stand seeing him anywhere besides on screen though.

Why do I hate these guys? I think that was a thread yesterday--"Famous people who think they are experts about something but don't know [censored]" or something along those lines.
