Adding Outs?
Is this a good spot for a flop raise with top pair & nut low draw to knock out other hands to increase my chances of winning high with 2pair or trips? I realise flush draws are staying in regardless but every extra out helps right?

Re: Adding Outs?
No, dont raise this becuase its likely that someone else has A2 or even A25 and someone else having a fd. If you had the Ac, I would be more inclined to raise because the chance of someone chasing a non-nut fd is less. As played, I want as many people in this hand as possible so that I have a chance to get some more money out. People are not going to fold nld in 3/6 and may not fold non-nut fd so I would just call and see whats going on.

Re: Adding Outs?
Ya you can't raise this hand ,really just check call unless no one is betting then you have to bet, but you really have nothing other than yr low to many callers to think yr pair of nines could be good here. And yes new001 this hand is a limper and I would fold this hand for a 3 bet possibly even a 2 bet depending on who the raiser was.any hand in split poker that has 7,8,9, in it is usually a liability, and any hand that has 2 of these cards i would only play in position for 1 bet with the ace 2 if it was suited probaly, and taking another look at yr hand that 3rd heart really becomes another liability as that decreases any flush chances before the flop, by the way I would add woods to my buddy list coming into that pot ep with trash

Re: Adding Outs?
I agree with zizazziza and mrrekrab about the post-flop play.
Now, pre-flop, this is a good hand and I will probably raise with it from middle and late position to feed the pot. It is a two way hand (A2 for low, ace suited and 89 for straight). 89 is not bad since you have A2 (someone correct me if I'm wrong). |
