I did a search on this and couldn't find anything ......
I am going to Vegas for the next five days...and will probably play poker for about 25 hours over that period of time. I currently play 1-2 and 2-4 online (shorthanded) and do fairly well....in a live game what would a comparable limit to play and also what kind of bakroll would I need? I was planning on bringing about $1500. Thanks for any suggestions, also where would the best places to play at these limits? |

is the 1500 just for poker? i would say 1-2 and 2-4 online compare to 5-10 or 10-20 live...possibly even higher. but, i wouldn't plan on playing higher than 5-10 on that roll starting off.

Play between $4-8 and $8-16 in Vegas. 100 BB for a trip playing live games is usually about right. If you can beat $2-4 online soundly both of these games should be well within your skill level. Look around also at $6-12 and such. You'll have a lot to choose from.

I'm just waiting for the "how do I transport my bankroll to vegas?" question in this thread now,

The Bellagio. You'll have the most game selection at virtually anytime of the day there.

Bellagio $4/8 is the spot. It'll probably play looser and more passively than the shorthanded games you usually play. I have heard Wynn $4/8 is also good. Don't be too afraid to play a little higher either.
