Yes, the variance is normal to see so you can't tell anything from this without more details. I will say that if you tend to tilt when you are on a bad streak that you could expect some large downswings. Your downswings don't look abnormally large by any means though so I don't think that is the cause, but it is a potential explanation for others who might be asking this same question.

Google on Poker Patterns for graphing software. I think it might just be www.pokerpatterns.com.

May I ask what level you're at?
I'm wondering if there are characteristic (typical) differences at different levelsnano, 5./1, 2/4, 5/10) etc..

[/ QUOTE ]

Sure thing, this graph is for .5/1.

I'm on a -150BB downswing right now. Had AA only twice in the last 1,600 hands. Its not pretty.

[/ QUOTE ]

Heeey I just had that too. Didn't get AA for about 1,500 hands and then got a bunch in a row and won like 1 BB with each of them.

AA is overrated

You'll find that after 10k hands or so, AA is what makes you the most money, by far.

Good point. I guess even winning 1 BB is better than losing 10 BB.

Is that all you've won with AA? 1 BB/100?

I think after 90k hands at .5/1 my net for AA was greater than my net for the level...
