On the bubble with TT.....push or fold?
Party $44.
Started with 70 players, top 10 paid. 12 players left and I'm the second shortest stack. The small stack is on the other table. He's got a few grand less than me. Blinds are 600/1200 with 75 ante Stacks (roughly): Me $10,500 Button $12,000 Small Blind $35,000 Big Blind $35,000 Button has been either pushing or folding since I was moved to this table a few orbits ago. No PT stats and he hasn't shown a hand yet, so no good reads. Both blinds have been tight as a snare drum. With about 50 hands in PT both have VPIP's & PFR of approx. 12/5. I get TT one off the button and it's folded around to me. Who pushes here? Who lays it down hoping to limp into the money? |

Re: On the bubble with TT.....push or fold?
To clarify -- all of the above "PUSH" responses are based on the presumption that you care to win the big $$$ and not just double or triple your buyin.
If the 2x/3x money has significant value to you, then you shouldn't be playing at this limit. So, the only move is to push |

Yeah, of course I push.
Button insta-calls and has AA. Flop comes ATx and I'm out. I posted this because a friend of mine thought I was insane for pushing and I thought a few responses like "push you dip sh!t" might convince him otherwise. Since reading HOH, I've been way more focused on the "big money" and not just placing. It's been workig out nicely. |
