kind of sounds like the trip report I would write if I ever brought my gf to vegas. I don't think I will.. Vegas tends to bring out the worst in people and my gf's worst is something i try unsuccesfully to avoid.

There is an easy way to remember this: you always work from the outside in. That is, your salad fork is the one furthest from your plate, and your entree fork is the next one in. This rule even works when they give you those other weird forks; just use them in turn.

I learned this rule from a French girl shortly after she told us that she wouldn't invite us (a bunch of boorish american males) to eat dinner with her and her parents.

This trip report is great, btw. I especially like how you have subtly given yourself canadian cred by spelling color and humor with extra 'u's.
