Also, I think a lot depends on the quality of your id. I've known people with good enough fakes that they passed muster with the cops.

Sure. It was in the context of bars getting raided back in college though, so it wasn't like they were getting pulled over/getting their information called in or anything. The cops would just look at them quickly and give them back.

Can I tell a True Story? I am not from the usa. I was sixteen when I went to Atlantic City with my parents. Well, I don't know why, but no one asked me for an ID. I bought some coins, played on 5c slots, and even cashout a net profit of 0.50 dolars at the Taj. It was nice.

I think that if you keep a low profile, perhaps don't shave a beard for a few days you might have no problems, and if asked, just move for another place.

I have been to Vegas twice when I was underage and never once got Id'ed in a poker room.. Funny thing was one time was there I played at Bellagio for a good portion of my trip and never got carded... but one night on my way out I stopped at the bar and asked for a mountain dew, then I got carded... If you can get a good fake I would go for it, but don't play in any tourneys..

It is far better to have no ID than a fake ID*. Fake ID = -$180 or similar. If you cannot produce any ID you have a better chance of being asked to leave rather than being booked, which is >0 possibility.

Grow a beard/stubble, wear a nice shirt tucked in, walk in confidently. If stopped or carded inside, move on.

*Unless your fake is foolproof, but since you have to ask, it probably sucks.

i went to court as my older brother once. showed ID to a freakin cop while standing in a courtroom. nothing major like murder, just a bar full of people that got popped drinking after hours and we all got a ticket, only problem was that i was under age. I wouldnt have done that if i wasnt 19 and stupid, ah the nostalgic days of thinking you are invincible....
