amoeba: ahh, I get what you mean. I was reading and thought you said to not 3-bet, but that was Jim's post. Jim, do you still think we shouldn't three bet? I mean, a 2pair or set will call almost all the time, especially at these levels, no?

We don't have that read. I would have bet $25 on the flop, and likely stuck it in right there after the raise. |

Bet more on the flop but once he minraises you and you're in position the slowplay is fine.

Not betting 25 on this flop makes me want to cry. You're probably not going to get any action, but you want to play a big pot as soon as possible when you do get action. In this particular situation, I do not like the weak lead because of the presence of the flush draw.
The turn is a very easy call barring a great read that villian is capable of CMRR'ing the flop with a flush draw. 99.9% of 1/2ers would never do that with a flush draw. I predict AxQs or AxKs for villian's hand and call quickly. |
