2 monitor questions

i just bought a used 21" Dell P1130 Flat Trinitron monitor. It is supposed to have max resolution of 2048 x 1536 (well their manual says that:

Highest addressable resolution* 2048 x 1536 at 80 Hz
* Addressable means the monitor will sync up to this mode. However, Dell does not guarantee the image will be sized and centered correctly.)

But when i went to the dispaly/settings tab to chance the resolution the max it gave me was 1600*1200. So is there a way to chance it to 2048 x 1536?

My crabhic card is ATI RADEON 9250 and it's supposed to be able to deal with 2048*1536.

The other problem is that that video card is suppused to support dual monitors, but when i look at my computer, there is no place to hook up the second monitor. There are only 3 plugs labeled 1)vid out 2) comp out 3) the place where i hook up my monitor. So is there a way to hook up second monitor to this setup?

As you allready probably noticed, i really know nothing about computers so any help would be really appriciated.

ok, i allready found the answer to my second question about the dual monitors; i need a new video card, so never mind that. But help on the resolution thing would be very appriciated.
