Hand Held PLO8 1/2$
A live 4 handed PLO8 1/2 blinds
Folded to me and i limp in the SB BB checks. My hand: A469o His hand: A377o Flop: 5 7 8 rainbow I forgot the cardinal [censored] rule, which is to play to scoop, odds for the flop: ME: Scoop 17% High 63% Low: 22% EE: 0.424 HIM: Scoop: 32% High: 37% Low: 78% EE: 0.576 I only had him on the high, which i knew so i bet the pot, he smooth called. Is this pot bet wrong? Turn: 5 7 8 Q rainbow With no FDs what so ever i made a 2/3 pot size bet, again he called, any thoughts here? ME: Scoop 13% High 75% Low: 13% EE: 0.438 HIM: Scoop: 25% High: 25% Low: 88% EE: 0.562 River: 5 7 8 Q 8 I checked and he bet the pot which was a large% of my stack, i called. Any thoughts? My thinking: I knew i had him on the high until the river my plan was the make a pot bet on the end causing him to fold, i didnt think A4 was a great low and that i would have split. Opinions please!!! |

Re: Hand Held PLO8 1/2$
where did you play a live plo8 game?
also, what were the stack sizes? given that you were playing against a random hand, i can't fault your line on any street. on the river, i'd be fairly confident that i was at least good for half if not the scoop. you got beat by a four-card hand. it sucks, but it happens (esp. in SH). |
