I wouldn't bee surprised if Gladiator was a major inspiration for a lot of mini-games. I got it out of a bargain bin for $5 and it was one of our most played XBOX games. Human Cannonball (pretty underrated)  [/ QUOTE ] I think I remember a few of the Gladiators getting pretty busted up in the early seasons, so they had to change the rules so you couldn't extend your legs. After that, it was a pretty standard "Gladiators win 9 of 10" kind of event.
