Default Removed DVD->audio thread

Hi,

I got a request from the producer to remove the DVD->audio thread. He said that he would consider officially releasing the DVDs in an audio format.

Hey, that's cool.

BTW, I liked the DVDs. I'm no AV club nerd, but with everyone talking crap about the production quality I didn't find it that bad. By the posts in this forum, I was expecting you to be dressed up like a rodeo clown and using onion ring graphics for chips.

I'm pretty sure that the people who were griping about the production quality of the DVD's are the same people who post pictures of models on OOT and call them ugly, yet only have their right hand as a girlfriend.

One of the DVDs is much worse thanthe others. It sounds like he is talking to us through tin cans connected by a string. but I bought them for the content so I don't care about the sound quality.

The content rocks.

That's all that really matters. It's not like I'm going to Fry's to get a THX sound system for poker strategy. "Man, it's like Ed's in my living room!"

Actually that would be pretty cool.

You're a nerd, Bob.

I threw one of the DVDs on while I was cooking dinner one night and my girlfriend told me to turn it off. It was too nerdy for her to handle... "Yes dear, reality TV is better." (I'm training for marriage.)

Just be glad she didn't become hopelessly obsessed with me. It's happened before.

I wouldn't worry about that, Ed. I told her you didn't cover how to beat LAGgy games in the adjusting DVD, so she was unimpressed.

Yeah, I noticed that too. People can say, "I don't care about the sound quality," but for me, that's only true up to a point.

I don't need super-hi-fi surround sound or anything crazy, but when it sounds like there is something wrong with my TV's speakers, that is distracting, and it detracts from the presentation.
