A ton of xbox 360 content at E3 will be going up on xboxlive. I think this is pretty cool, get to see all the trailers and stuff in 720p, and apparently a handful of playable demos.
Looking forward to footage of Too Human, Gears of War and of course, the Halo 3 teaser. I heard there will be no actual in-game-footage of the PS3 since there are no devkits yet. Will still be interesting to see what's in the works, but all in all means little in seeing it's power (or, lack there of). I hope they release the new controller design though. I have no interest in the Wii. The "revolutionary" controller looks like a pain in the ass. I can't imagine a 3 hours gaming session holding my arm in front of me the whole time. |

YES! Isn't G4 tech doing a show on it? Can't wait. Schneids should do his thing where he asks us which games we want him to tell us about. I'm also hoping they announce the Alliance race and I can't to see more of the Revolution. [/ QUOTE ] I'm not going this year to E3, otherwise I would. If I woulda thought of it sooner I could have hooked up a few of ya with E3 passes though they aren't too tough to obtain anyway. |

I would be shocked if Gamestop didn't start taking preorders for PS3 right after E3. We took orders for 360 for 15 months before the release and the months after E3 is prime time to start taking them because of the wealth of new interest generated. [/ QUOTE ] Gamestop/EBgames are taking no preorders on PS3. They don't want what happened with the 360 to repeat itself (i.e. not being able to fill all the preorders). Next, Ubisoft announced it's list for E3. Looks pretty sweet. # Assassin's Creed (PS3) # Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway (PC, PS3, X360) # Dark Messiah of Might & Magic (PC) # Enchanted Arms (Xbox 360) # Open Season (X360, Xbox, PS2, PSP, PC, GC, GBA, DS) # Rayman Raving Rabbids (PS2, X360, Xbox) # Red Steel (Wii) # Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent (PS2, Xb360, Xbox, PC) # Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas (PS2, X360, Xbox) Lastly, if you have a 360 and Xbox live, during all of E3 they are introducting a marketpalce just for E3. It will allow you to play the demos that are at E3, and watch the trailers that are there. It should be sweet. |
