Default what site do you recommend?

I always play live games, but have decided to start playing some online tournaments. Which site do you all think is the best in regards to how well it's run, graphics, etc?
TIA

Pokerstars is known for its good tournaments. It's support is very good, and the software is pretty much flawless.

To avoid making this seem biased, Ive just switched to PartyPoker (albeit not for tournaments), because they offer bonuses which are much easier for me (low stakes player) to clear, and because the competition in general seems softer.

If you want tournaments, I'd chose PokerStars anyday, but it can't hurt for you to have a look at both I guess. Can't say anything about other sites though.

You may want to consider that WSEX multi-table tournies have some serious overlay (free money) right now. You also get your fees refunded.

That said, they are still getting sorted out. For graphics, support, and Huge tournies go to Stars.

Well, as far as the best run site my vote goes to Pokerstars.

The site with the most interesting graphics to me is the new pkr.com site which is just getting started.

The site with the best rake structure is wsex with 100% rakeback.

The site with the craziest players in my experience is Paradise.

If you are just starting out seriously look into bonuses and rakeback as well, they can really add to your enjoyment.

if you like to play more than one table + chat or type a letter, than avoid Stars and AP. The cursor jump from one window to the next.......Stars is only playable if you are a total quiet player. Tourneys on stars are ok.

Thanks to everyone. The general consensus seems to be Pokerstars, so I'll look at that. I'll also look at Ultimate bet. I really only want to get involved in tournies and keep playing cash games live (for now anyway).
Thanks again.
