Default E3 Anyone excited? (Warning: Nerdy)

Any else excited about E3?

For those that don't know E3 is the Electronic Entertainment Expo, which every year provides software developers with a chance to show case their upcoming games.

Things I'm hopeful for:
-Diablo 3 announced, or if not then Starcraft 2
-World of Warcraft: Buring Crusade alliance race announced
-More info on Spore
-Duke Nukem Forever info and screens.

Weeee... nerdgasm.

Duke Nukem is never coming out, don't believe anything they tell you until the game is sitting in your lap. I'm excited for anything PS3 (which I hear is not alot, unless they're planning a suprise).

True that, havn't really been a console player since the N64 but I'm moving in with some friends next year and getting one of these babies, hope to see some great games announced. Has the controller been released yet? Does it look good?

No love for the Wii? I'm really hoping this works out for Nintendo because it could be the coolest thing in video games in awhile and there will always be a place in my heart for Nintendo.

Plus downloading old NES, SNES, and N64 games, very sweet.

No love from me, the specs sound pathetic, it will have to be incredibly extraordinarily awesome, double-adverbingly awesome, with an awesome new zelda, mario, and/or smash brothers game to win back my heart.

I don't look at Nintendo from a "spec" point of view. When I think of PS3 and Xbox 360, I think "Oh man that is going to look awesome in HD on my huge TV", but when I think of anything Nintendo, I think "Man that is going to be so freaking fun to play". From a gameplay standpoint, Nintendo is the most innovative and that is what should count the most. So yeah, I am looking forward to the Wii to get my fill of video game zaniness.

On the 360 front, I'm am hoping to at least get a rendered teaser-trailer of Halo 3, and a look at what Madden will be like the first time it is built up specifically for the system (last year it was simply a graphically doctored up version from the Xbox).

As for PS3, there isn't much that I am truly looking forward to unless they unveil God of War 2 for it. Sony is the company that, over the last 3 years, has "wowed" me the least. They need to get over the fact that they have the largest installed base and start putting out first party games that don't suck (God of War being the only standout exception to this).

I agree with that 100%

The Wii is gonna be [censored] fun to play, and I'm really looking forward to adding it and the PS3 to my entertainment center.

E3 makes my nerd pants go crazy.
