With all due respect to other posts, i have known (and played with) James. He is in fact a brilliant guy or at least does have a very fast and sharp mind. His IQ for what it's worth is around 185.

I used to tease him that if he's so smart, why couldn't he learn to play NL. He wouldn't always laugh, he has a real passion for poker, true love for the game.

Re his 'size', that wasn't a rumor. Extra large, no joke.

Who sleeps with James [censored] Woods?

I am sad at all the penis and IQ envy in this thread. If one has it, they might as well flaunt it.

Then again, you could come to that conclusion sooner if you realize that he read the script to "Be Cool" and still agreed to act in it.

[/ QUOTE ]

its not like hes tom cruise or anything, so its doubt full he was making a career move to act in a bad movie, Im sure he got paid a good amount of money to basically just show up and do his thing.

has nothing to do with brains.

Actually in a movie he has it on display for the world to see. Woods is a good guy a conservative (rare in socialist Hollywood) and not a bad player. BUT,I don't like the IQ references either.

I'm not defending, or even commenting, on Mr. Woods. I didn't see the exchange referenced.

BUT, this is such a pet peeve of mine. Not when smart people 'point out' how smart they are, but when people like you react like you do to any mention of it.

If Yao Ming was sitting there, SOMEONE would mention that he's the tallest person they've ever met and that would be o.k. Michael Jordon would be referred to as the best basketball player of all time, and that's o.k. (you can argue about it, but non-basketball players are not OFFENDED by it). You let it be known (whether you bring it up or just agree with someone else) that you're IQ is the highest in the room (if he's 180+, then you've more than likely never even MET anyone that smart) and you 'suck at life'.

Here's a news flash...someone is the tallest person in the room, someone has the prettiest girlfriend in the room, someone is the smartest person in the room. That's just life (variance?) and it shouldn't be offensive to you that the smartest person in the room knows they are (and a lot of other stuff) anymore than it should be offensive for Michael to think (without ever seeing you play) that he's a better basketball player than you.

You want your ego thoroughly crushed? He's also 'huge' and dates very many, very young, very hot chicks - you wish you 'sucked at life' so bad.

You are free to not like anyone you don't want to like, but green isn't a good color on you.

I never saw so many people with such inferiority complexes. You guys obviously have small penises and low iq's, sucks to be you. Have fun with the mediocore women you deserve.

James Woods is smart, he knows it, who cares about his penis size, hes not a great poker player by any stretch of the imagination and he will continue to be invited to tourneys to get spanked on tv. Im happy with the world.

I think it did used to be possible to get a 779 for a SAT portion. I'm pretty sure that when Woods would have taken it, it was scored out of 1600 total and possible to get scores that weren't multiples of 10. I think getting an 800 then meant you got every question right. Can't you miss one or two problems and still get a 800 today?

Not that the SAT (nor IQ tests IMO) is a good a measure of one's intelligence.

[/ QUOTE ]

if that SAT score is in any way comparable to today's SAT scores, there is no way his IQ is 184. 780 on math SUCKS.
