Cinco de Mayo... party ideas/other?

So,

This friday is a friend's birthday, along with Cinco de Mayo. We plan on loading up on the standard-issue coronas and tequila.

What other mexican-inspired things could we do? Or where do most people go for this day?

Additionally, what really bad mexican groups/music should I download? People waiting in line for the keg should feel like they are in line at Baja Fresh.

I live next to these four Mexican guys that dug up their yard last year to make a BBQ pit, roasted a pig, and had a mariachi band play for like 3 hours. Very successful party.

nice - I was thinking that too for the pinata but how would it work? Granted they won't get damaged when people are beating on the pinata but they might get nasty after being inside for awhile....maybe instead of jello shots have some kind of plastic airplane mini-bottles of tequila? Tough call
