Well, you have redraws. If he has the Ad, you could catch the Kd on the river and then catch the 9d on the stream for a straight flush.

Oh wait, there is no stream. Fold flop.

Even if he misses the 9d on the stream there's always the brook and/or the creek. I say easy push.

you are supposed to stop at the stream for a light lunch.

Bask in the woodland dappled sunlight - take in the beauty of an outdoors natural unspoiled environment - clear your head of distractions and then come back to the tables refreshed being able to spot a villain holding a nut or near nut flush when he overbets the pot and smacks you in the face with the information.

I think.

without any knowledge of what kind of player the sb is I will assume what i most commonly see... the small raise preflop that just screams "RERAISE ME" is probably AA or KK having a 50 percent chance of being a diamond... a diamond that beats yours...

If he's been playing with you awhile, he knows about your weak calls, such as the one you did on the flop (where you probably should have folded) so when he made his nutflush or maybe even K high flush, he decided if you had any diamond you were calling... and he maximized his value...

But thats not knowing anything about the kind of player he is, how long he was sitting with you at the table, and the kind of player you are

scenerio 2 he has AA or KK or "QQ" hits his set and fires at it out of spite of his set card making the 4 flush or that his AA or KK may have been cracked by someone hanging on to a jackhigh flush draw.... and then your call makes you a hero...

No, extreme pot overbets with the second nuts is the new minraise. Calling these overbets with the third nuts, that's just considered silly.
