Default Few hands I got lost on

Hi guys,

So I’m another limit monkey that has recently switched to NL. I’m still waiting for my reading to get here, so I’ve been fooling around trying to work out how to play this game from first principles, which has been fun, but I’m sure I’m doing a ton of stuff wrong. So go easy on me!

Here are a few hands I think I screwed up on. Any comments appreciated.

HAND 1

Only have a few hands on the villain in this, but he hasn’t done anything unusual so far. Should I have just gone all-in on the flop?

Party Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.50/$1
6 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $63.90
UTG+1: $76.77
Hero: $79.25
Button: $101.40
SB: $35.15
BB: $188.43

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is CO with A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
2 folds, Hero raises to $4, Button raises to $9, 2 folds, Hero raises to $25, Button calls.

Flop: 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($51.5, 2 players)
Hero bets $25, Button calls.

Turn: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($101.5, 2 players)
Hero raises all-in $33.25, Button calls.

River: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($168, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $168)

Results:
Final pot: $168

HAND 2

Both villains are fairly loose and aggressive. BB is 51/20/3 and CO is 52/9/3. I think I played this pretty bad. Flop bet too small? Turn bet too big?

Flop: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($12.5, 3 players)
BB bets $5, Hero raises to $15, CO calls, BB calls.

Turn: Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($57.5, 3 players)

HAND 3

Well, this one was pretty weird. I mean I’ve got to call that river bet, right? Villain was uber fish 66/35/4

Default Re: Few hands I got lost on

Hand 1 just push the flop. That is not the flop for a 1/2 PSB.

Hand 2 looks standard to me.

Hand 3 I'd just push the flop. He will call with a Q.

Hand 4 If you think the bet/call on the flop is a bare diamond a lot of the time then I think you need to hit the turn harder. Fold to the river raise as played but you already know that.
