Default Losing Big, Winning little

2 consecutive hands which pretty much illustrates my problem with big pairs. No need to comment on hand 2. In hand 1, Villian2 is an unknown and CapAndFold has been spewing chips, capping flop and turn then folding river to a bet so folding to him is out of the question, once villian2 stays in though....

Default Re: Losing Big, Winning little

edit this and delete the redundant hh.

You're almost certainly behind when you cap that flop, it's a dry dry board, but capping isn't bad. the rest of the hand is fine. You might have found an earlier fold on the river or turn, but it's hard not to try to see a relatively cheap river given how much is out there.

hand 2: what do you want from us?

FWIW: the pot is big pf in hand 1, and you couldn't have let go earlier. You were beat this time, so what. Find some hands where you aren't releasing early enough/ or failing to extract the maximum from a winner rather than bbv stuff.
