folding top pair top kicker--am I too tight?
Full Tilt NL Hold'em $24+2 Deep Stacks, Big Blind is 60
MP2 (3,385) HERO (3,920) Button (6,605) CO (1,145) SB (5,865) BB (4,525) UTG (3,380) UTG+1 (4,555) MP1 (2,745) Preflop: HERO is MP3 with Ks As 4 folds, HERO raises to 120, BB calls 60 Flop: (t270) [7d Ac Qd] (2 players) BB bets 180, HERO raises to 500, BB raises to 4,405 and is all in, HERO folds BB wins the pot (1,270) I'm not sure whether this is a very disciplined good fold or a bad one. I have little read on my opponent, but haven't seen him do anything out of line. My range for opponent is AQ, A7, 77, Ax of diamonds, KJ, KT or JT of diamonds and maybe some small possibility of an underpair. |

Looks ok to me. You don't want to risk your tournament life with TPTK without a good read that can justify a call in this situation. Good fold.
