Default Party Raked Hand Definition for NL?

I have been working under the assumption that the following statement form Party's website was correct:

[ QUOTE ]
Raked hand
A hand that a) a player participates in (dealt cards) and b) has generated at least $0.01 in rake for that player. Generated rake is calculated by dividing the total rake collected in that hand by the number of players who were dealt cards.

[/ QUOTE ]

Under this assumption, a NL pot raked $0.05 would not count as a raked hand in a 6 handed game. However I have looked at my last few days play and it seem that any hand that is raked is being counted for PP Points and bonus calculations.

Can anyone else confirm based on their recent play if the "must generate $0.01 in rake for that player" information is still being used by party. I'd e-mail party but I seriously doubt Id ever get a correct answer.

You have the raked hand requirement right. I haven't
been on Party in a day or so,But I did work on a Empire
bonus a couple of days ago and it seemed to be normal.

Froggy,

What is normal? I just started playing NL.

I was under the assumption that the $0.01 rule they put in a few months ago applied and was normal. It is only the last few days that I noticed it doesn;t seem to apply.

I played 785 raked hands today (about 150 where raked $0.05 in 6 handed pots) and the bonus im clearing says I have cleared 785 hands so that is why I am confused.

I am just trying to understand how it is supposed to work as this will be the first time i try clearing a VIP bonus in NL.

That's sorta strange! Of course it is Party, so strange
is normal for them. The five cent pot is not supposed to
count. It might be that since it's a VIP bonus that the
requirements are different.

I checked my PT stats for Empire and no five cent rakes
were counted. If it's a screw up at least its a good one!

I've confirmed this in the past using PT data:
For 6-max tables, min rake is $0.05 for hand to count as raked.
For 10-max, min rake is $0.10.

Yes, this contradicts the web site, but are you really THAT surprised?
