I'm sitting in a 2/5 NL @ fw, mixture of OK and bad players so the game is playing pretty loose, asian guy(Villain) is sitting to my right, no reads except showed down a lucky flop vs. a pocket pair to double up.
He's got about $490 and i have him covered. Hero pickes up KK MP2, Villain limps for $5, I raise to $30, I get 4 callers behind me, and villain comes along-6 of us to the flop (crazy) Pot = about 180 Flop Qh 5h 4s (my KK no Heart) Villain bets 50, I make it 250, everyone folds and villain pushes for the rest of his stack--210 for me to call, pot is about 680...I call quick. 1.) Is this standard reraise on the flop with no ace? 2.) Can I ever fold to that push even with those odds if i'm fairly sure he's never doing this with AQ or KQ, and he's only doing it with 2 pair or better (never draw either). |

what a silly question. should you call if you know he is doing this with only two pair or better? well that's a math question. but i think you seriously underestimate how often he is doing this with a hand you beat. i'll give you a hint - very. or if not very, certainly enough to make this a math-free instacall. and yes flop raise is incredibly standard as well.
