i'd been pretty much running over this table. so when i raise with SCs and hit, i tend to fastplay it, hoping someone finally will play back at me. anyone suggest a better line here?
particular opponent seemed competent, hadn't gotten out of line or fought back so i figured he likely had a strong hand here or was at least willing to represent one. NH. Alternatively, you can call his flop raise and check/raise all-in on the turn. Given your image, I like the line you took better. I'm not sure what our plan is if the board pairs on the turn, though, however. It's hard to put villain on a non-set hand here because the flop missed nearly all of his preflop range minus 33, 44, and 77, and maybe A7.

Way to define your hand perfectly.
I would either shove or check/raise AI on the turn. |

There aren't any flush draws. I'm hoping villain is drawing nearly dead with an overpair. Just call the flop raise. I'd check, call the turn and make an inviting bet on the river. I'd hate to let a set draw out, but in the long run I think you make more money by trying to let him hang himself with hands that are drawing dead.

c/r turn AI, mmmm.
I guess though it depends just how solid you think he is. If you're relatively sure he has a set then this is good. |

This is a set, 2 pair or an overpair, get your money in with the best hand, he'll call. I like your play. Then again I'm so greedy I may have misplayed this by playing a little slower if I didn't have the time to analyze the hand.
If opponent was good you might want to make your rr a little smaller to get him to pay with a hand like 88+ |

hmm u have the stone cold nuts i would probably call on the flop and try to check raise on the turn... but if he calls ur flop bet or goes all in that's also excellent
