reading more it seems that this monitor is getting some bad consumer reviews... "color banding" whatever that is.

What exactly is color banding??? I dont do a lot of graphic intensive stuff....and I most liely will get a 2 VGA connection card....Am I going to care about this issue??

I mean hell I could sell this PC for like 350-400 and get this UBER cheap. Any realistic reason why I (all of us) shouldnt be jumping at this???

Dell often runs these promotions, it just takes a smart consumer to take advantage, you will get a quality product for the unusually low product. If you're just using this machine for poker, websurfing, and office, this machine is perfect for you and at a great price.

The reason we're not all jumping at it is that it has very very low graphic possibilities, in all likleyness it would struggle to put out a 16x12 DVD. But as I said, if you're not using it for any intense computing applications, this machine is a great buy.

Screw the machine....this box is pre-fab junk. But I can whore it off on ebay and keep the monitor. Although the more and more I look at these reviews Im seeing some really bad things. Ive seen this promo mentioned before. Forget it....I'll just wait for for another 2001FP sale. Im sure they will run another one after this banding crap is fixed, and the 2001 will be cheap. Or we can just wait until they mass sell all the "refurb" 2007's for dirt cheap too.
