Re: NETeller ATM Card - Seems Like A Joke
2+2_wannabe,
If you decide to just bring cash to vegas with you, as I have done the last couple of trips, the Bellagio has the best exchange rate (of the 4-5 that I checked). Every casino has a different exchange rate and some are downright terrible. Some of a maximum amount that they will exchange at one time. I think Rio was only going to let me exchange $500 which was horrible (I wanted to buy into the 1500 tournament and couldn't get the cash for their cage). Belagio has no problem doing $2000. I think they said $2000 or $3000 was the max. I can't be sure about that. I checked exchange rates at Belagio, Rio, Gold Cost, and Ceasar's Palace and this was last summer. I won't use the Neteller card. |

Re: NETeller ATM Card - Seems Like A Joke
Just a hint. Don't know if you have them, but in Jersey if you go to a Wawa or Quick Check, they don't charge anything for ATM withdrawals.

Re: NETeller ATM Card - Seems Like A Joke
I have a card, but stopped using it after the pain in the ass with money stuck after an atm withdrawal..
US neteller, CDN bank account.. i just get cheques sent for withdrawals.. the come in US funds, and my bank has a better exchange rate (and no nasty neteller exchange fee) As for Vegas.. I'm all about traveller's cheques |

Re: NETeller ATM Card - Seems Like A Joke
I did my first withdrawal from the card today; my account is in USD, but since the card provider that Neteller is using is based in CAD, the system converts it to CAD when transferring money into the card, and when withdrawing at the ATM it gets converted back to USD
Joke. |
