Online, yes. Live depends on alot of things, if there are people I don't know at the table I will wait a time-fee or two before I put on the iPod to get to know them and listen to them talk. If I do play an iPod at the table it's normally 1 ear at most. I think blocking out all table chatter is a mistake for any observant/adjusting player.
