Meh. Button has a pair. He'd have capped you with AA and probably QQ BTN vs BB. 3-bet and call a cap. If he has a K, say "nh, sir".

I think that most of the time he has either a paired 9 or nothing at all & is trying to get Hero to fold a better hand. Call/call/raise is a terrible line to take on this board with a small PP--not saying no unknown ever does that, but it seems pretty unlikely.
You're holding the 4th nuts here and we can pretty safely rule AA & QQ out of his range, so you're only really worried about a slowplayed king. I think he pays off often enough with a 9, 3, or even an ace-high bluff to make the 3-bet worthwhile, and I think he caps with the 9 often enough to make calling a cap good. |
