AKs hand from UTG
My opponent in this hand seemed to be a reasonable player.
I felt almost obliged to bet the flop after I capped preflop. But after my opponent raised, I wanted to try to extract the most bets I could from him if I had the best hand. I also wanted to lose the least bets if I was behind, and didnt get lucky with my bdfd. Re: AKs hand from UTG
I'd three bet the flop, call if he caps. play the rest the same.

Re: AKs hand from UTG
Since your opponent 3-bet pf, and then raised again on the flop, makes me think that he would be on either AK, AQ , or a big pair. I like flop and turn. Maybe consider a check-raise on the river since your opponent has been so aggressive thusfar.

newbie grunching:
I'd consider reraising the flop with TPTK/BDFD I think the rest of the hand is fine though. |

You'd have to think that your opponent would bet to your check over 50% of the time to make this a good deal though -- probably a strong chance in this situation. |

Re: AKs hand from UTG
check raise sounds great, people don't give much credit for BDFDs

Re: AKs hand from UTG
i would 3 bet this flop as well and if he caps then i c/c down and probably go for the check raise on the river with the flush.
if he just calls the 3 bet i lead out the turn and river. |
