I predict lots of hyper-LAG NLHE guys will go to the rail overplaying stuff like two small pair and getting picked off with silly bluffs.
Damn, I wish I were playing

That's what I saw yesterday in PLO. Lots of raising pre-flop in early position, lots of trying to push people out of pots with bupkus, etc. Not your typical PLO game.

FWIW kutuz, my table was nothing like this. Extremely tight in EP, somewhat common open-limping that led to multiway limped pots, but once we got to the third/fourth level, a lot of LP raises and heads up/three way pots. Several good PLO players at the table and a couple mediocre ones.

Meant to post about the Draw tourney/overlay over here. I couldn't play it myself. Good luck to anyone playing.

I play on Pokerroom proper. For kicks and giggles I entered their first PL5CD 50+4 qualifier. It was 9-handed and naturally bombed on the first hand when it ran out of cards. There were 3 or 4 of them later that actually ran.

Ended up donking out a few spots out of the super nice overlay. Misplayed a few two pair hands that got me into the trouble zone. Damn I hate you Aces up.

Definitely an aggressive game, much more so than the regular 5CD tourneys on the site.

I ended up playing. I'm "Anna1978" at PokerRoom. I got 19th and made over 2 grand. I'm happy I took my shot.

The first 4-5 hours featured tons of terrible play. Half the people I played tonight would suck in a $5 or $10 draw tourney. It got tougher later, as we got whittled down to people who either know draw or are just good poker players that quickly adjust, with the usual few luckboxes thrown in.

Congratulations! That must have been a real sweat; I watched for a while near the bubble (20 places paid) and it took a looonnng time to get from around 23 left down to 20.

Now I wish I'd just gone ahead and bought in after getting TKO'd in that damned qualifier...
