Default Re: Well that turn lost me the pot, I guess I\'ll shove.

im very intrigued by all the responses for a bigger flop bet. am i missing something here. almost all my flop bets are about this size (3/4).

am i missing out on alot of value? i know there have been threads on this in the past, but lately i have noticed alot of clamoring in posts for bigger pot bets closer to being exact pot sized bets..

anyone care to chime in on this topic?

ps. im not yet convinced and am still sticking with my 2/3 or 3/4s flop bets for most situations..

And what check/fold? LOL, ur kidding right?

OP, all streets look fine, even the flop, my bets are almost always the same on the flop, except for RR'd pots. Fact is, if someone is drawing for 60 something they are drawing for 80 something at these levels.

Also, and take this fwiw, in a 3 way pot, two toned with two broadway cards hitting, it usually dosen't pay to get "cute" and try to "induce" a raise.
